Takebook is a browser-based practice aid provided “as is.” Keep backups of work that matters to you.

Using Takebook

You may use the free recorder and local exports without an account. You are responsible for your device, hearing-safe volume, and rights to material you record or share.

Teacher pack

The Teacher pack is intended as a $9 one-time purchase that unlocks folders and printable practice sheets for the licensed user. New purchases are paused until production checkout is registered. Existing licenses can still be restored. When checkout is available, Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record and handles checkout and refunds. A refund or invalid license revokes the unlock. Do not share or resell a token.

Availability

Web MIDI varies by browser and hardware. The computer keyboard remains available. We may improve or discontinue the service, but your exported MIDI, WAV, and JSON files remain yours.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Takebook and Sociobot are not liable for lost browser data, missed practice, device issues, or indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
